In this module, you will learn about the atom, its composition of the atom, its history of the atom, atomic mass, molecules, and ions. I have included an introductory video with this course so you can be ready to sit down and learn chemistry and I provide some tips on how to do so. The topics in this course are for all learners and you only need to have excitement to learn and a willingness to think. Lastly, as you go through the material feel free to pause the material and think about what I have taught you. The videos run from 5 to 7 minutes in length. Please feel free to take breaks and learn the material at your own pace.
In this course, you will feel confident about general chemistry concepts such as what is the atom, the composition of the atom, the history of the atom, atomic mass, molecules, and ions.
No prior knowledge is needed except a willingness to learn. The course starts with an expectation that you don’t have a background in chemistry at all.
